Bank Loans and Finance
Applying financing from banks and financial institutions is not as simple as many business people think. Please pay attention :
- if the MD or major shareholder is over 65 years old, banks will not look at the application favorably unless the company has millions of transactions with the banks.
- Credit report of the directors must be good. If the credit cards debt are not paid promptly, the report will be bad (hx of hh). The banks will treat you as a bad paymaster.
- Banks will require NOA of last 2 years of the directors. If declared income is less than 30,000, the bank will think you will not be able to repay back the loans.
- Bank will ask for 6 months of last bank statements. If month end balance is negative or very low, bank will not like it.
- Proper financial statements must be submitted to bank for last 2 years.
There are many other issues to look into. The above are the major ones that bank will ask.
